OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS GREEN BAY METROPOLITAN SEWERAGE DISTRICT MSD #13-024-CO2 DUTCHMAN CREEK INTERCEPTOR REHABILITATION AND REPLACEMENT BROWN COUNTY, WI Sealed bids for the construction of the Dutchman Creek Interceptor Rehabilitation and Replacement Project will be received by the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District (GBMSD) at the GBMSD Office, 2231 North Quincy Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin, until 2:00 p.m. local time on the 18th day of December, 2019, at which time the bids received will be opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the specified time will not be allowed or considered. The Project consists of: The work of this contract includes sanitary sewer replacement from MH DMC-44 to DMC-25. The existing 15-inch and 18-inch sewer will be replaced with a 24-inch diameter sewer. New manholes will be added. The new sewer is located primarily in wetlands and will cross Dutchman Creek at multiple locations. From MH DMC-025 to DMC-025-05 the pipe and manholes will be rehabilitated with a cured in place pipe. All manholes, new and existing, will have an interior coating applied. Ancillary items include landscaping, concrete and roadway restoration, creek bank stabilization, bypass pumping, temporary creek crossing culverts, and pipe abandonment. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACT SECURITY: The bidder to whom a contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Owner.
